Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
I am a college student who is trying to find a way of seeing my sisters and making sure they are ok. My father is died of lung cancer and my mother has cut all ties with family. Does sibling visitation rights exist in SC?

If you are over 18, then you should be able to bring an action seeking visitation with your siblings. These cases are rare, but there are good arguments that can be made to support your request.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
