what is correct for sc

My daughter inlaw took out divorce papers , my son got custody, she begged him back and agreed to rehab for drug problem. He went back on trail basis that she get help. She ran with children 3 states.

He got custody ordered updated and she says because he took her back that custody is null and void. I heard it is good till judge resends that order.

The answer lies somewhere in between. The last order is valid until it is rescinded or canceled by a subsequent order. However, the Court may do that once it finds out that there was some type of reconciliation.

If your son has an attorney, he needs to discuss these issues with him/her. If he doesn't have one, it is important that he consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what his options are based on the facts of your particular case.
