A Court Order is valid until a judge changes it. If child support is being paid through the Court and they do not receive it, they have the right to file a contempt action for failure to pay. The better way to proceed is to file a Motion to Terminate Child Support. Then the Court may stop the accrual of child support because the parties have reconciled.
