Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

The court order reads: For x-mas the mother shall meet with the children christmas eve at 4pm-x-mas day at 4pm on odd years. This year is my year and I have the children on christmas weekend anyway for our normal visitation. Does my ex-wife get to take them at 4pm christmas night?

Typically, holiday visitation will trump regular weekend visitation, so unless your Order says otherwise, she will probably be allowed to get them at 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Day.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
