Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
Court Order
If a court order states you must pay attorney fees and you have not complied due to financial reason, and now you have a hearing for a different case, can they bring that up at the hearing and you be put in jail for that? Please Reply

Re: Court Order
Generally, "jail" will only come into play once a Rule to Show Cause has been filed and served on you. However, I am sure that the other party will bring up your non-compliance with a prior Order at any other hearings, so it will be used against you nonetheless. Good luck.
