Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

It is court ordered that my wife and I not contact each other directly or indirectly. What would happen if one of us did. we are seperated and going through a divorce.

If you violate the terms of an Order, then you could find yourself in Contempt of Court. The penalties for willfully violating a Court Order can include up to a year in jail, up to a $1,500 fine, up to 300 hours of community service or any combination thereof. In summary, it is unwise to willfully violate an Order.
