Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Court Orders

I have back child support, it was Ordered by the Judge for this back child support to be taken out of my mutual funds. Her attorney, took me to court for back child support, even though he knew about this order, his office had to type it up and file it with the court, they waited until the same day I had to go to court after the hearing to file this Order with the court, so they didnt realize this, I had no attorney so they didnt listen to me. I guess what I'm asking is there a time limit on which Orders have to be filed?

Re: Court Orders

Unless the Judge submits a specific time limit, then the answer is no. Most Judges require orders to be filed within thirty days, and some give as few as ten days.
