Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

I have a custody agreement that says that I cannot have overnight guests while my daughter is with me (only blood relatives or marriage). I am in a long term committed relationship but not ready for marriage again yet. Can we live together if he has his own room while my daughter is visiting?

If the Order says that you cannot do it, then you cannot do it. Period. If you do, you could find yourself being held in contempt of Court.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
