Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Custody of two children in a bad situation

I have a friend who is trying to get custody of his children from his wife that he has separated from. His wife is and has been doing drugs and has various men going in and out of her home. She's had people from the Mental Institute where she was for 2 weeks move in with her for a couple weeks. He wants custody of his children and is wondering what he should do, and how much it would cost for him to get custody of his children. They live in the Cayce, South Carolina area and if there are any numbers that could be given to give him would be greatly appreciated. He also was wondering if there were any local attorneys he could have a free consultation with about the subject matter. Thank you in advance.

Re: Custody of two children in a bad situation

Your friend certainly needs to consult with an attorney to discuss his options. Some excellent custody attorneys in that area are: Ken Lester, Vance Strickland, and Jay Elliott. He should be able to find their numbers in the phone book, as LawGuru will not let us post phone numbers in these messages. If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
