Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Custody/ visitation

I am divorced and getting remarried in Feb. He lives and is stationed in Alabama with the Army. He can not relocate. I have a 20 month old that sees his dad every other weekend here in SC. Can he stop me. I have tried to give me weeks through out the year.

He cannot stop you from moving, but it is possible that he can prevent the child from moving away. There are many factors that the Court considers in these types of cases, and they tend to be very fact specific. You have several options as far as how you want to handle this situation if he will not cooperate/agree.
