divorce / adultry
been marrried 16 yrs. we were selling everything to pay things off we were living together doing the every other weekend we went our seperate ways. my husband who is not a licebsed invest. video taped me going into motel in nc. w/guy. he served me papers but has never left house he told his attorney to continue hearing he has taken me back and consumated the marriage. if we do end up going court i've been told has to be licensed to use tape and if he took me back all accusations are null and void is this true?

No, it is not required that a videotape be made by a licensed private investigator. However, the tape might have some questions about its authenticity since it was made by your husband, who has a direct interest in this case. For that reason (among others), it's better to have a licensed investigator conduct surveillance.
If you have truly reconciled, then you can use the reconciliation as a defense to his divorce allegations. These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly.
