Live in South carolina and am wondering if cars taht are in my name can I sell them to liquidate debt before either party is served as long as I provide the other spouse with transportation

You can sell assets prior to litigation, so long as you act in good faith and can account for how the proceeds are spent. Selling them at fair market value to pay off marital debt is rarely a problem.
