Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

I don't want a divorce

I have been married four months, and I love my husband completely. We have had our share of arguments, so now he wants a divorce. I do not because I think our problems are fixable and common in marriage. Is there anything I can do to not let my husband divorce me?

Re: I don't want a divorce

The short answer is "no." In South Carolina, if one spouse wants a divorce, he or she will be able to obtain it, regardless of whether the other spouse agrees.

It is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
