Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
divorce papers
My husband will not sign the no fault divorce papers that i purchased. What papers do i need to file without his consent? We have been separated for four years and i am still struggling will i be able to obtain alimony to help me get back up on my feet. He kept the house cars furniture and everything. He pays child support but i have to fight him to do this. Will a judge award me alimony and child support? He says he is not paying alimony.

Re: divorce papers
First, trying to handle a contested divorce case yourself, particularly one involving alimony, is not a good idea. These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
