why are my divorce papers sealed?

Court files in SC are only sealed if the Judge orders that they be sealed. Also, the Supreme Court issued an Order a few years ago that made it much more difficult to seal files in all Courts. Without knowing more facts about your particular case, it is not possible to give you more help at this time.
