Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

divorce settlement

In our divorce settlement we agreed child support per sc guidelines, yet in the final decree her attorney used another order calculating child support, that had arreage payments included, the arreage was paid in full, but the support payment did not change, what can be done about this, can I get the over amount paid reimbursed

Re: divorce settlement

If you have an attorney, you should discuss this issue with him/her to find out what is going on. You only have a limited amount of time to ask the Court to reconsider or modify its decision, so it is important that you act quickly to protect your rights/interests in this matter.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
