Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
I'm divorced with two children. We have joint custody of the children but they both live with me. My ex has standard visitation rights; every other weekend and rotate holidays. My ex wants to make the kids do some things that they nor I want them to do(nothing that is harmfull or bad). My question is do I have any legal right to say they don't have to do it?

Typically, she can make decisions regarding the children when they are with her, and you can make decisions for the children when they are with you. In other words, neither of you can dictate terms to the other regarding day to day items.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
