Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

being evicted by husband

My husband is going to have me evicted from our home. We are not legally seperated and I have no where to go. This was his house before we got married and sc is not a community property state but can he really just have me thrown out?

Re: being evicted by husband

He cannot "evict" you from the home, because it is marital property. He can try to force you out, but you have just as much right to possession of it as he does, until and unless the Court orders otherwise.

You should contact an experienced family law attorney to discuss this issue further and to determine what options are available to you based on the specific facts of your case.
