Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My ex-bf and i have already been to court once and they set us at visitation, he gets everyother weekend fri 6pm- sun at 6pm. Our court date was for tomorrow for them to set childsupport which was never set, and the child is now two. He is now working out of state and now wants to reconstruct the whole aggreement we already had set. What kind of visitation do the parents without custody get when they leave out of state typically. I told him I'd give him 5 days a month and he wants ten. I'm just wanting to see if I need to bend or if I need to stand on this one. Please help me!

"Distance" visitation cases vary widely, depending on the locations, the individuals, and the age of the child. This is something that you should really discuss with an attorney, so that he can get some additional information from you and then give you some specific advice to your case.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
