Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My ex-wife has Judge Brown's standard visitation, and full custody. The visitation guidelines provide for weekend and midweek visitation as well as certain number of weeks during the summer. My contention is that outside of the weeks that are selected for summer visitation by each party, the normal weekend midweek visitation should apply, My ex-wife contends that the ONLY visitation during the summer period is the allocated weeks, and she does not have to permit the normal weekend/midweek visitation during the summer period. Who is correct?

The generally accepted answer is that the standard weekend/mid-week visitation continues except during the non-custodial parent's four weeks and the custodial parent's two weeks specified for summer visitation.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
