Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My exwife has remarried and we have a 3 yaer old.i am currantly unempoyed and behind on child support.She wants to send me to jail.Her husband has asked me to sign legal rights over so he can have more say so. He wants me to maintain visitation but wants her to have his last name.Do i have more options other than signing my rights over or going to jail for back child support?
