Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Failure to appear in court sc

I failed to appear in court because my child support was behind and i was about to start a new job. I have caught up my child support and now i want to redeem myself. What do I have to do to clear my bench warrant?

The actual procedure for this varies from county to county, but typically your attorney can arrange a time for you to turn yourself in, be brought before the judge, and have the bench warrant addressed.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
