I am paying child support on my 17 year old daughter; she is living with her 27 year old boyfriend and is expecting a baby in December. Can I my child support order Dropped?

Re: Family Law

You can bring an action to try to have her declared to be emancipated, which could end your child support. However, the cost for doing so might exceed the amount of the child support and there is no guarantee that the Court would declare her emancipated anyway.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
