Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
Family law
My sisters 2 kids were tooken from her a few years back when she lived in north carolina. She now lives in d.C. She maybe gets to see her kids once or twice a year and it was also the same when she was in north carolina. She is in college and also the army part time and a very good mother. She lost her kids due to the fact her husband and her were not on good terms and he made it so that he would get custody by bringing up past things about her life that werent really necessary for her to lose her kids and i want to talk to a attorney to take this case because theres no reason why kids should be away from there mother like this.If possible i want a attorney that can work some kind of split custody. Her husband and kids live in south carolina. I live in savannah ga and am willing to handle things for her until she may come to south carolina.

Re: Family law
Obviously, I would need much more information about her specific situation in order to give you any specific advice, but our firm has handled many custody/visitation cases over the years including ones where the parents live in different states/regions.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
