Until and unless the Court orders otherwise, both spouses have equal rights to the residence. They can try to put or keep each other out, and/or they can break back into the home, if necessary.
Once the Court addresses this issue, there will be clear rules and guidelines to restore some order and clearily let both parties know what their rights, responsibilities, and obligations are with regard to the residence.
