Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
Family Law/Divorce&Separation
Does time living apart and length of time without sexual relations have any influence on filing for divorce? There's a mandatory year of separation law here in SC.Ugh!How does that work?My husband moved out in June and we have not had ANYthing close to physical relations/sex since February. Will this ''apply toward'' that time?

Re: Family Law/Divorce&Separation
As for the "one year" requirement, the only thing that counts is physically living apart (i.e. under separate roofs). Sexual relations do not factor into this analysis.
