family

I live with a man who's wife abandoned him 2 and a half years ago and now we have a little girl what if any rights do I have and what do I need to do to protect me and my childs future because they are not yet divorced.

You can bring an action at any time to establish paternity, verify that you have custody, and calculate the father's child support obligation.

The fact that he has a wife somewhere should not really impact your case, unless he has minor children with her, which could factor into the amount of child support he may have to pay you.
