Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My ex fiancee has had a child and claimed it mine. Since having the child she has put her up for a private adoption. She has signed her consent to the adoption. I need to establish paternity. The adoptive mother has said she will not fight for custody if I do not consent. If I establish I am the father, can I get a copy of the paperwork the ex has signed to give up her right and use them in a custody suit for the baby?
