Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My final decree was Aug.08 In SC. The ruling was marital property be sold and proceeds be equally divided after debts paid. The is a parcel of realestate yet to be sold. Can I petition the court to fairly divide the remainder instead of sale?

Without looking at the language of your particular order and getting some additional information, it's not possible to say more than "maybe." I will be glad to meet with you to review that information and to discuss what specific options are available to you at this time.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.SpartanburgLawyers.com). I wish you the best of luck.
