Hello!

In the state of South Carolina, if you can prove adultery, do you still have to be separated from your spouse for a year??

Adultery and one year separation are two of the ways to obtain a divorce in SC. If you can prove one of those, the other is not necessary. There are also other ways as well.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
