Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

my husband has cheated on me in the past. I am just tired and want to start a divorce. I don't know if I should try to go for adultery or for a year of seperation. we have assets but no kids. house cars etc. I am curious as to what I should do and the in's and outs of splitting of the assets.

Fault grounds for divorce (such as adultery) can be taken into consideration when the Court is dividing the marital estate, so that factor can result in a more favorable outcome for you with regard to that issue.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
