Please help. I need to know. If my husband and I get a divorce and he wants me to remain sole beneficiary to his 401k plan and life insurance is that possible?

Yes, there is an insurable interest under those facts, and it can survive a divorce. There are some potential issues that you should be careful to avoid as you go through this process.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
