Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My husband & I have been seperated for 21/2 yrs. We have a 13 yr old daughter that has lived with me since the seperation. I have a chance to move to Ga. to be around my family & better my life as well as my daughters. Her father refuses to let her move with me. Although he does not see her on a regular basis & pays no child support. I need to know my legal rights.

Relocation cases involve many issues, which are far too involved to discuss via email. However, his lack of contact and support with the child will certainly work against him if he objects to the child moving out of SC.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
