iv'eeen looking for my son for 6 yrs, his father has custody, i have visitation rights. i think iv'e found an address for him? how can i verify this address, or what is my next move? I have an open court date in my county.

A large part of the answer to your question will depend on what you want to do at this point. If you want to try to obtain custody of the child, then your attorney would attempt to have the pleadings served on him at that address. If you want to go after him for contempt, your attorney would do the same. If you merely want to start exercising the previously ordered visitation, then you can simply show up there at the next visitation date/time. Obviously, you should consult with an attorney to discuss the pros/cons of each of these steps in depth, preferably before you take nay other steps.
