Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

when you have joint custody of a minor child with one parent having primary resd. does that give them the right to make the final decisions on situations without consulting with the other parent?

Without looking at the specific order it's hard to say, but typically "joint" custody means equal decision making ability.
