Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
being kicked out of house.
my girlfriend's mom has told her that she and her brother are to be out of the house in 5 days. she will turn 20 in november and is about to start her second year in college. does her mom have the right to do this, and if so, is five days enough time?

If the mother owns the house, she can certainly determine who lives there and who doesn't. If the children are over 18, then legally they are adults and the parents no longer have a duty to support them under most circumstances.
