Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

We have been living together for 14 years. Iam i intitiled to any of his money. We split the rent and he payed the electric and i did the rest. Money for gas, food, ect We are comon law married. Now he has left me for another.

If you are common law married, then you are entitled to a portion of the marital estate that was accrued during the marriage. However, the burden is on you to prove that you have a valid common law marriage.
