Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

How long can I be late on child support? I'm self employeed, ex wife took almost all I had in savings, business acct, and anything of value to sell. So needless to say I'm out of funds! Judge granted her temp child support & first payment I just noticed was due a few days ago...so now I'm stressed out, I have an appt with an attorneys tomorrow, but its involves the cdv I'm being accussed of. I have evidence of her having affairs, video and more. When confronting her even tho I made no threats made to anyone or even touched and she testified to that in the pre hearing family court. I'm being hung out to dry...I didn't think once she testified it would go bad this way....I'm on my way back to success but if end up back in jail, ill lose all...I have no priers, clean record, even have help local law enforcement at events for yrs but seems everyones back is now turned on me! Thx for a quick response if possible

You need to have an attorney protect your interests in family court as well as one protecting you with regard to the criminal charges.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
