Can my spouse open mail that was sent to me only, not to Mr. and Mrs. John Doe, when we have been seperated for over one month.

Technically speaking, no. But it would really be helpful in answering your question if I knew whether he opened mail that came to the home that he was living in, or if he actually came to your home and took the mail. It would also be helpful if I knew what type of mail it was. For example, if it was a bill from a credit card sent to you, that he has been making payments on, then that is one thing. However, if it was a private letter to you, say from your attorney, then that is something else. Of course, your welcome to call if you care to discuss it further.
