Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Marriage

My fiance is in the army right now and he graduates in Dec. I need a Intent of marriage form and was unsure of where to get it and if it transferred into other states as well. I also need to know about the changing of my name and what forms I would need to fill out.

Re: Marriage

In South Carolina, marriage licenses can be obtained from the Probate Court. You have the option to change your name when you get married. I am not familiar with an "Intent of Marriage" form and have never heard of such. If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
