Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

I have only been married for a little over year. I am 12 weeks pregnant. My husband has decided that he does not want to be in the marriage anymore. He has been back and forward from his mom to here. His name is on all the bill: house note, utilities (expect cable, phone and internet). Could he make me move out because my name is not on the house note?

The Court will ultimately decide who gets possession of the house, but it does not matter if it is listed in your name, his name, or both names. You have many issues to deal with, and once you're sure that the divorce is going to happen, the sooner you consult an attorney the better.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
