can i?
i have no money, no job and have a one month old. can i get a public defender for divorce and child custody?

Public Defenders only represent persons accused of a crime, and they do not represent adults in Family Court actions. You might want to contact South Carolina Legal Services to see if you qualify for them to assist you. Their website is http://www.lawhelp.org/SC/
