Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

i am a mother of two daughters. i am 23 years of age. the father of my second child wants to adopt my first child. i am married to him, but the problem is how do i do that with my first childs dad is in prison for molesting my 5 year old niece? please help i live in south carolina an he is in missouri prison!!! he has like 4-7 years in prison an i would like to do something before he gets out!!!
