mother needs help ex is trying to take kids

i have done drugs in the past. not in front of kids. lost my job due to drugs. ex found out, four months later i got married. he filed papers on me when he found out i got remarried and brought up the drug issue saying i am a bad mother. i have been drug free for four months now and i am in rehab (outpatient) do i have a chance in court. will they take my kids away from me. i do not have a lawyer because of money issues. he has a bad background also, will the judge say i am calling the kettle back when i bring up his issues about sexual misconduct at work which he was fired for. need feed back asap going to court in three days.

The Court will certainly consider your drug use/abuse when determining which parent should have custody of the children. Of course, the Court will also consider any misconduct in his past as well, if that information is properly presented at the hearing.
