Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
Moving to another state after the divorce
Can my husband keep me from moving to another state after our divorce is final because of his visitation rights with the children. I'm willing to bring them back to see him as much as possible as my family still lives here to and I would be here quite often anyway. He has children from another marriage that he never sees, of his own choice and hes 17,000 in arrears with his support for those kids.

Re: Moving to another state after the divorce
Florida Law - The parent who is the primary residental parent (where the children live) can not move to another state unless the parties have agreed to this or you get approval from the court. Therefore, if your ex gives you a hard time go for getting the approval of the court. If the move is in the best interest of the child, and you are not intentionally trying to remove your children from your ex and visitation can be worked out, then you may get the court approval.
