Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
can a non custodial parents visitation be suspended until her federal charges have been resolved?
1 Answer from Attorneys
If the Court determines that it is in a child's best interest, then yes. However, simply having criminal charges filed may not be enough in and of itself. Of course, much more information is needed to be able to answer that question specifically for your case.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
