Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Order of protection

My ex husband who is the main coustodian, took me to court after my boy friend and I got into a yelling fight and he pushed me out of the door in front of my child, The boy friend and I had seperated at the time of court and I agreed that Kaitlyn would not be around him, that was the only thing that ever happend around her, We have since got back together and when I see my daughter I can not take her to the house and my boyfriend has to be around another adult if he wants to see her so we have to pack up and go to his mothers so that we can visit with her, He has jumped through hoops in order to see her, he made one mistake and she loves him, how can I get this 6 month protection order over turned, the father is just using this because my daughter and now fiance are very close, he has always been a very juelus person. the order was in place in november and its now January.

Re: Order of protection

You could jointly request that the Court rescind the Order of Protection via a Supplemental Consent Order. There's no guarantee that the Court would grant it, but there's a good chance that it might do so.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
