Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

No parental rights

Back in 2002, the father of my daughter signed his rights over so he wouldn't have to pay child support. In March of this year, he heard I was moving from South Carolina to California and started to send money to ''help'' with my daughter. My question is, is there any possible way he can try and take her from me by trying to re-establish his rights through support?

Re: No parental rights

You need to resubmit your question for a South Carolina attorney. It appears that you and your child have been and still are living in South Carolina. That is the child's home state and the state which has jurisdiction over visitation and custody issues.
