Parental rights
How long does one have to appeal when parental rights have been taken?

Re: Parental rights
Generally, you have ten (10) days to file a Motion to Reconsider and/or thirty (30) days to file your Notice of Appeal. You should be aware that the time lines on appeals are VERY strict and if you miss one, then the appeal is over.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
