past due child support

can a child sue for past due child support? can neglect and mental anguish be added onto that? what is the statute of limitations for child abuse in south carolina? what evidence do i need to prove abuse?

Re: past due child support

Child support is typically owed to and paid to the custodial parent, for the child's benefit. As such, the parent will typically need to be the one bringing the action and not the child.

I am not aware of any "statute of limitations" for child abuse. You can report any such allegations to law enforcement and/or to the Dept. of Social Services.
